Gift of Love

This was my first time working on papyrus and I enjoyed it.  The surface took the gouache really well and the broad edge moved smoothly over the surface in an uncial font.  The finished piece was placed in a shadow box and attached with foam core board to give it a floating appearance.

All in all I was please with how smoothly it all went.  My client was very happy with the results as well.  I love when that happens!

  3. That looks amazing! Like it's ancient!

Thanks for your recent visit to my blog. I am always selling, I suppose, but I think I'm steering away from Etsy. I want to open my own shop from my website. I just haven't decided if it's cost effective for me yet. :) We'll see!
